Characters: scientist, me

I was hooked up to some machine and being shown various pictures in rapid succession on a large multi-color monitor. They were analyzing where in the brain it caused a reaction.
scientist: "This is interesting, there is a strong reaction tied to the symbol for the card suit of clubs."
me: "What?"
scientist: "Let's see what reactions we get when we subject you to the months of the year..."
Note Some of these diagnostic-process situations cause me the most unease, because they make me worry that I'm on some kind of life support somewhere with brain damage and have descended into my own internal reality.

The accounts written here are as true as I can manage. While the words are my own, they are not independent creative works of fiction —in any intentional way. Thus I do not consider the material to be protected by anything, other than that you'd have to be crazy to want to try and use it for genuine purposes (much less disingenuous ones!) But who's to say?
